Alladin Nursery Appearance: Saturday, Sept. 4, from 1pm-4pmDragon Slayers will be in Corralitos, off Freedom Blvd., for a showing of their therapy chickens at Alladin Nursery. The world's smallest breed of chicken, Seramas, will also be on display in their shrine.
2009 Events:
Aptos 4th of July Parade: Saturday, July 4 - parade starts at 10:00 am, along Soquel Drive starting at State Park Dr. Our students will be riding in donkey-drawn chariots and leading young miniature donkeys. Baby Merlin will be led in the parade and we will all be down in the Aptos Creek Park afterwards. Come and see us there!
Renaissance Rummage Sale Extravaganza: Saturday, June 13, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm, at 5905 Soquel Drive, Aptos, (just past the new Chevron gas station at the corner of Park Avenue and Soquel Drive.) Our big annual fundraiser this year will feature:
· An array of unique donated treasures for sale · Donkey-led cart rides for the children · Exotic animals · Shakespearean skits performed by local theater group · Wool spinning demonstrations and practice, with alpaca, llama, sheep, camel fiber for sale. We have a storage facility waiting to be filled, generously donated by AAA Self-Storage in Santa Cruz.
Day in The Sky: www.dayinthesky.org Saturday, April 18, 9am-3pm, at Watsonville Airport - we will be setting up a booth at this event held by Shared Adventures. We will have a miniature donkey and her 3-month old female baby on display.

Spinning wool at the Fair Renaissance attendees June 14, 2008 Renaissance Family Fair, Aptos Village Park Our single largest fundraiser: non-alcoholic event with rare & unusual animals, barbecue, music, dancers, magicians, crafts, wool-spinning with camel, yak and llama fiber, sheep-to-shawl demonstration, educational zoo and so much more. Come meet the Tibetan yak, zebra, camel, four-horned ram, Watusi cattle, woolly mammoth poitou to name a few.
